Week 8: Little Raspberry

I have reached the end of week 8 today! I can't stop looking at those little sonogram pictures and remembering that little baby heartbeat. It all seems so much more real today, and I'm so excited to tell the family this weekend. I know we have a little ways to go, so I'm still trying to be realistic about it.

Today, baby is the size of a raspberry! (Exact measurements yesterday were 15.52 mm)




Baby is growing like mad, putting on about a millimeter every day and continuing to straighten out in the trunk. Though you can't feel it yet, baby is moving those little arms, legs, and (now only slightly) webbed fingers and toes like crazy.

Symptoms:
soreness, fatigue
A little diarrhea, upset stomach
