Week 11: The world's smallest lime

This week has been ... not so great for me. It seems in the past 3 or 4 days, the nausea/sickness has decided to rear it's ugly head.

I have tried everything to quell the morning sickness, and have successfully ruled out most options:

1. Eat something before you get out of bed. Well, sure, if you enjoy puking in the shower.
2. Drink ginger ale. Yuck. Don't make me describe what ginger ale tastes like to me.
3. Eat frequent, small meals. Again, sure, if you enjoy frequently watching your meals in reverse.
4. Take vitamin B6. I couldn't even swallow the pill. Not because it's a big pill, on the contrary, it's very tiny. It's just that my stomach rejects any solids or liquids, so why should this be any different?

I did purchase a pair of sea bands. Maybe it's all in my head, but I think these little guys are working. Granted, I feel like some emo skater kid, or like I'm ready to go work out (where's the matching sweatband?) but I'm willing to deal with the image crisis if it means my nausea will go away!

I also ordered some Preggie Pops (can I have a moment to shudder at the word "preggie" ?) yesterday. They should arrive today or tomorrow, and I'm excited to see if they help as well.

Today, baby is the size of a lime. My question is this: what freakishly small limes have these people been exposed to? I've never seen a lime that's only 1 1/2 inches long. *shrug*

Baby's now the size of a lime!
Your fetus currently enjoys a 1:1 ratio between body and head, and has skin so transparent that blood vessels show right through it. But fingers and toes are no longer webbed, and hair follicles, tooth buds, and nail beds are forming -- setting up a significantly more attractive future.
