Week 10: Some ugly fruit

Today I finish week 10 and begin week 11. The last few days have been relatively uneventful. I find that every day I experience a different pregnancy symptom, which is weird. One day it's extreme thirst/hunger, the next I'm sick, then I feel fine ... you get the idea.

Today, I just feel generally "blah". Achy, tired, sick ... I'm just hoping this day goes by quickly.

Baby's now the size of a prune!
With bones and cartilage starting to form and vital organs beginning to function, baby is making major progress. Body length will almost double in the next three weeks, and arm joints are now working. (Soon, legs will start working too.)

How far along: 10 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: About a pound

Sleep: Tired, as always. I've taken a nap after work every day this week.

Best moment this week: Visiting Dustin and Jen

Movement: Nope

Food cravings: fruit, sour patch kids, pepppermints

Food aversions: Most foods. I am finding that foods that used to my favorites aren't that tasty anymore. Buffalo Wild Wings chicken wrap, for example. Ick.

Gender: Not sure

Labor Signs: None

Belly Button in or out? Innie

What I miss: coffee, lunch meat

What I am looking forward to: Tomorrow's doctor appointment. I'm nervous, but staying positive!

Weekly Wisdom: Sleep when you can, eat even if you don't feel like it. Don't drink chocolate milk in the morning or you'll puke. :)

Milestones: First official doctor's appointments are complete!
