Oh man, good movie, but BAD for pregnant women. The combination of a woman struggling through multiple miscarriages, and then finally having a baby (birth scene, baby growing up) was almost too much for my hormones to handle, lol.
I am NOT a movie cryer and I had to struggle to keep from sobbing out loud in the theatre. Luckily, Harry was armed with tissues. :)
The next day, we spent some time at the pool. Dustin had to work, so Jen, Harry and I went shopping at this huge mall (I forget what it's called) and then we went to Georgetown. Georgetown was probably my favorite. There was an Anthropologie shop there. Oh, how I love Anthropologie. Unfortunately, their price tags and my wallet don't get along. It was fun to look though.
Of course, we made a stop at Georgetown cupcakes. I wish I'd taken a picture of those little creations. I had a chocolate coconut cupcake, Harry had a chocolate ganache, and we split a red velvet. I don't think Harry was that impressed, but I certainly was.
Oh yeah, we ate out a lot too. I tried some Chipotle for the first time, and we also ate at PF Changs for dinner.
Sunday, we went to church, lunch at California Pizza, more pool time and then took a trip to Ikea. I picked up a new duvet cover and blanket for the bed. Dustin and Jen picked out some new things for his apartment.
Before we left for home, we stopped at a McDonalds where I encountered what was possibly the most foul bathroom I've ever been in. *shudder*
Jen and Dustin also gave me a gift card to Pea in a Pod where I picked up two bella bands. Thanks guys!
All-in-all it was one of the best weekends I've had in awhile. Jen and Dustin are two great friends. My hope is that we'll be able to move up there soon, and do things like this more often.
